International breaks in the EFL Championship haven’t always been kind to Bristol City - or so it feels to me - so I travelled up the M1 on Saturday to Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough with a degree of trepidation.

Given the trials and tribulations the Owls have endured this season under the ownership of Dejphon Chansiri, it felt that this could be a potential banana skin.
