GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Beer City’s only German Bier Fest is back for its 44th year with tons of fun for the whole family.

Oktoberfest Grand Rapids kicks off at 3 to 10 p.m., Friday, Sept. 26, and runs through Saturday, Sept. 27, from noon to 10 p.m.

After a record turnout the last two years, the annual event is expecting more than 10,000 attendees at Riverside Park for 2025.

Adult events include a stein holding contest, keg tossing challenge and a Trachten (traditional German outfit) contest.

There will also be bounce houses for children, starting at $10 per ticket.

A highlight of the two-day festivities is the sixth annual Dachshund Dash at 1 p.m. Saturday. Anyone with a wiener dog is invited to participate in the race.
