Britt Lower can now add her name to the illustrious list of Emmy winners for outstanding lead actress in a drama series.
The 40-year-old took home her first trophy for her portrayal of Helly R. in the dystopian series "Severance."
During her acceptance speech, the Emmy winner thanked the cast and crew of the AppleTV+ series, which includes Adam Scott, John Turturro, Zach Cherry, Patricia Arquette and fellow winner Tramell Tillman , calling them "heroic." She also thanked executive producer, Ben Stiller and show creator Dan Erickson.
Viewers watching the 77th Annual Emmys spotted a cryptic message written on the back of her acceptance speech. Penned in all capital letters were the words "LET ME OUT."
Fans of "Severance" will likely understand the note, given that Lower's character
