Winter Fuel Payments worth up to £300 will soon start landing in pensioners' bank accounts - but not everyone will receive them.
New qualifying rules are in place this year for the Government winter support, which aims to help older people cover their energy bills during the colder months.
The cash will be paid out from November to pensioner households who are eligible.
