A popular Massachusetts bar was trashed over the weekend and alcohol was stolen, leading the owner to offer a $1,000 reward if the perpetrators are caught.

The Rhumb Line , a Gloucester bar known for live music, was ransacked over the weekend, owner Fred Shrigley said in a Facebook post Sunday morning.

"It's a sad day in the neighborhood when someone breaks into the Rhumb Line and steals booze and trashes the place...we will not be open til later min the day if that is possible," he said. "I'm offering a $1000+ reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who are responsible for this."
