A final report released Sept. 10 identified twelve factors that "contributed to the inordinate delays and related problems surrounding the 2024 election process" that caused mass frustration and concern among Burlington County voters.

The independent analysis, performed by Roseland-based law firm Connell Foley LLP, was commissioned by the county in response to hours-long wait times for voters in November . It blamed issues like lacking communication, the late roll out of new voting machines, inadequate poll worker training and the need for redistricting, among other problems, for wait times that kept some voters in line until 3 a.m. on election night.
