SALT LAKE CITY — A new version of the classic board game Monopoly is coming to Salt Lake City.

Mr. Monopoly himself joined officials with Top Trumps USA, which is a global licensee for Hasbro , at a news conference this week at Pioneer Park to announce the new game, which is set to be released in summer 2026.

Salt Lake a ‘natural fit’ for new Monopoly board

“Salt Lake City seemed like a natural fit,” said Aaron Green, sales representative for Top Trumps USA. “The beauty, the mountains — the board’s going to be gorgeous. It lends itself really well to making a beautiful game.”
