Atlanta rapper Jeezy, the former Young Jeezy, has long considered Detroit his second home.

He closed out his latest tour, which saw him toasting the 20th anniversary of his 2005 major label debut album "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101," Friday night at Detroit's Fox Theatre. It was a night packed with hits and glitz , as the sold-out crowd came out dressed in tuxedos and gowns, to honor the album and to celebrate the passing of time and being around to appreciate it.

At a press conference following the show, during which he announced a new mixtape, "Still Snowin'," dropping Sept. 28 (his 48th birthday) and a Las Vegas residency, Jeezy talked about his relationship with Detroit, and the first time he felt a special bond with the city.
