Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to assist with enquiries into an incident in Glasgow .

The incident took place at around 10.30pm on June 7, within the ticket hall of Hillhead subway station in the west end of the city.

The man is described as white, aged around 30 years-old, with short brown hair and a beard. At the time he was wearing a grey t-shirt with a beige jacket and dark trousers.

Detective Constable Neil Adams said: "We would encourage the man, or anyone who may recognise him or has information about the incident, to get in touch.

"If you have any information that can assist with our investigation, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 828 of 7 June."
