A woman has asked for advice after revealing that she does not want to spend Christmas with her sister.
The mum, who has two university-aged children, would rather spend the festive period with her immediate household instead.
This is despite the fact that her sister is single and has no children, meaning that she may be forced to spend the day alone.

The sisters also just lost their mother to dementia, so the period is likely to be difficult for them both emotionally.
