PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The assassination of Charlie Kirk last week in Utah sounded the alarm on changes needed for security standards.

Kirk’s memorial service is set for Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, with President Donald Trump planning to be in attendance.

Former Arizona Department of Homeland Security Director Tim Roemer said multiple law enforcement agencies, technology and city resources will be involved in keeping everyone safe. He believes this needs to become the new security standard.
