LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Governor Gretchen Whitmer has proclaimed September 15 – October 15 as Hispanic Heritage Month in Michigan.
This month serves as an opportunity to celebrate the rich history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic Americans in shaping Michigan’s communities.
Michigan is joining the nation in honoring the enduring impact of Hispanic Americans, whose unique cultural and social influences have fundamentally enriched the character of both our state and our country.
