ROCHESTER, Minn. — Jefferson Elementary School is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a year-long theme, "75 reasons why...!" The school, in partnership with its PTSA, plans to create a legacy mural and invites the community to celebrate at the annual fall carnival. The mural, a key part of the celebration, will be designed by local muralist Cassandra Buck. The school says it aims to raise $7,400 for the project, seeking donations from community members and groups. The mural will be displayed on the building's exterior along 14th Street.
