Erling Haaland is “revelling in the responsibility” as a leader for Manchester City and it is now his “job” to get the best of his teammates as he continues to score goals, Citizens expert Steven McInerney from Esteemed Kompany has told Sports Mole .

Just a few days after scoring five goals for Norway in an 11-1 win over Moldova in World Cup qualifying, Haaland made his presence felt in the 197th Manchester derby as he scored two second-half goals to over rivals Manchester United on Sunday.

Haaland, who has already scored five Premier League goals in just four games this season, is in the headlines once again for his prolific form, but McInerney believes that Pep Guardiola ’s side are not solely benefitting from the 25-year-old’s efforts in front of goal.
