AAA technician saves the day for a dad and his sons thumb

A car breaking down is stressful enough, but throw two kids under five into the mix, and it can feel like your worst day come true. That's how Casey Kacz, an Event Coordinator for a non-profit and father of two young boys, felt when his car battery died.

But this is where the story gets good. When AAA roadside service showed up to help, it wasn't just about fixing the car, but creating a core memory for Casey's sons, aged three and four.

Watch how an AAA technician saves the day for a dad and his sons below.

Mike Law, AAA technician and hero, immediately brought the boys into the repair. When they wanted a closer look, Mike went to his truck and grabbed a step stool for them to be part of the action.

Mike's patience and natural affinity to teach shone through as he guided the boys step by step. From showing them the tools, replacing the battery, and even giving them gloves so they could feel like real technicians, the experience went from went from a horrible hassle to memory-making magic.

When asked how it felt as a parent to watch a stranger take the time to teach and entertain his kids, Casey said it changed his mood completely, and turned a frustrating situation into something special. "I smiled the whole time because my boys were having a good time," Casey said, "Mike was so good with them, I literally forgot I had to buy a new battery."

The video has since gone viral with people praising Mike for his willingness to be kind to the boys and make them feel special. "I was just as excited as the boys were to help, and they truly filled my heart with joy. Their energy and kindness made my day brighter than I could have imagined. I'm so grateful for the chance to share this moment with them, and even more thankful knowing it's something they'll carry with them just as I will," Mike commented on the viral video.

Casey may have driven away with a new battery, but his sons left with something even better: a spark of joy and experience they'll never forget.
