SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WTVO) — The Illinois Freedom Caucus has filed articles of impeachment against Governor J.B. Pritzker, accusing him of inciting violence through inflammatory rhetoric.

State Representative Chris Miller, who filed the impeachment articles, claims that Pritzker's statements have contributed to politically motivated violence in the United States. Miller points to specific comments made by Pritzker in March and April as evidence.

Miller accused Pritzker of stirring up violence, citing statements such as "Bullies respond to one thing, and one thing only, a punch in the face. What we really need ... is to become street fighters."

Miller argues that these comments are inflammatory and contribute to a hostile political environment.
