ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Congressman Joe Morelle held a press conference Monday at Rochester International Airport to discuss the federal budget process and his vision for a bipartisan spending plan.

Morelle emphasized the importance of creating a budget that reflects American values and addresses the needs of families. He expressed his readiness to collaborate with both Democrats and Republicans to achieve a comprehensive solution.

"All budgets are a demonstration of what your values are, and we as Americans what values we have and hold and what kind of future we want to have," Morelle stated during the press conference.

Morelle, a Democrat, highlighted the urgency of the situation, noting that he would be returning to Washington to advocate for the plan before the October 1st deadline
