A married mum who professed to have "fallen in love" with a vulnerable teenager has been sent down, leaving the lad's mother in tears as she read her victim impact statement.
Lindy Leah, 44, crossed paths with the boy at a care home in St Helens, Merseyside , where she held the position of deputy manager. She was accused of having a sexual relationship with him.
Despite denying charges of abusing a position of trust to incite a child to engage in sexual activity, she was found guilty after a trial at Liverpool Crown Court last month, according to the Liverpool Echo. The news comes after the man accused of driving into Liverpool victory parade crowds pleads not guilty to 31 charges.
