Bunnie Xo has explained "breaking" her sobriety while in Italy with husband Jelly Roll. After receiving backlash over a video of her drinking a glass of wine while on holiday, she set the record straight on whether the clip meant she had broken her years-long sobriety. "A lot of people think that I was an alcoholic in my former life, and that wasn't my drug of choice," Bunnie said during a 15 September episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast. "My drug of choice was cocaine and Xanax, those were my vices. Alcohol was just always prevalent because I grew up in Vegas. I never had a problem with that." And while the podcast host, who got sober from drugs in 2017 before giving up alcohol the following year, said that she only drinks "like once every five years", she also reminded her followers that "everyone's perspective is very different" when it comes to what sobriety means for them. "Just because I can have a drink does not mean that I fell off the wagon and I'm going to be drinking every night again," she continued. "Whereas somebody who is really battling that demon could see me drinking and be like, 'Oh, well, if she did it, I did it,' and then completely wrecked their entire sobriety. Please don't do that."
