Seven top-rated teams held their position this week in the South Dakota Prep Media Football Poll released on Sept. 15, 2025.

No. 1 teams in 11-man football still include Sioux Falls Lincoln (AAA), Yankton (AA), Sioux Falls Christian (A) and Elk Point-Jefferson (B).

Nine-man teams at No. 1 include Freeman-Marion/Freeman Academy (AA), Wall (9A) and Sully Buttes (9A).
