MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) - Some families say they won’t be going back to Old Fort Park after two people were shot there around 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Police arrested 19-year-old Tavarious Chambers, who they say showed up in a ski mask and opened fire. It left two people injured, with one of them in critical condition.
Chambers is charged with six counts of attempted first-degree murder and tampering with evidence. He remains in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $1 million bond. A court hearing is set for Oct. 29.
