Five metro areas in Upstate New York were among the top metros in the nation in July for quickest home sales, according to data from Redfin, a national real estate brokerage.

Rochester, Albany, Buffalo, Binghamton and Syracuse all ranked in the top 50 for fewest median days on market before a sale. The rankings include metro areas in the U.S. with at least 50 sales of single-family homes in July, the most recent month with Redfin data available.
