Former No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney signed with the Cowboys over the weekend as Dallas looks for help on its defensive line.
Clowney met with the media on Monday and shared that he expects to play this weekend against the Bears, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer .
"Jadeveon Clowney said he expects to play Sunday vs. the Bears but does not have a snap count in mind,“ Archer posted on X. ”Excited to join the Cowboys and begin practicing on Wednesday. He’s been working out all summer to be ready.“
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones announced on Sunday after the win over the Giants that Dallas was signing Jadeveon Clowney to a one-year deal. The contract is worth up to $6 million, according to ESPN.
