Five months after severe storms resulted in thousands without power for more than a week in parts of Western Pennsylvania, Duquesne Light said it has been making multiple upgrades and changes to be more prepared.
According to its website , DLC said it has since expanded the number of calls it can take in its automated phone system, along with making updates to its website when it goes into "storm mode." Advertisement
"We implemented an enhancement to automatically update the homepage of DuquesneLight.com with storm-related resources as soon as DLC goes into storm protocol, along with other enhancements for our customer experience," a release posted to DLC's website said. "The company is also piloting a chatbot function on the website to facilitate customer interactions f
