WATERBURY, Conn. — A man died after a shooting in Waterbury Monday night, according to the city's police department.
Police responded just before 7:50 p.m. to Charles Street after receiving reports of shots being fired.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Waterbury Police Department Major Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Detective Bureau at 203-574-6941 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 203-755-1234.
