A man is wanted for questioning after threatening letters were allegedly left at prominent hotels.

Investigators are appealing for public assistance to identify the man who was observed on CCTV footage allegedly leaving threatening notes at two Sydney hotels within a week.

Police alleged the man affixed multiple envelopes to hotels on Martin Place and Hickson Road in Sydney's CBD on August 27 and September 2, 2025.

Investigators have not revealed the contents of the allegedly threatening letters, but said they were seized for forensic examination.

"As investigations continue, police are seeking assistance to identify a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries," NSW Police said.
