In a growing effort to serve the Spanish-speaking community of East Tennessee, new weekly Spanish-language worship services are now being held in Morristown.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is hosting these services and providing a welcoming space for individuals and families to worship in their native language, build community, and strengthen faith.
“This is about connection, belonging and worshiping in a way that feels familiar and meaningful. We want everyone to know they have a place here,” said Jason Pickup, regional leader of seven East Tennessee Latter-Day Saint congregations, including the Morristown area.
