Etowah’s Bo Colpaert and River Ridge’s Alana Bourke were the top two finishers from Cherokee County in this weekend’s 2025 Fleet Feet Warpath Invitational, running in their respective 5k championship brackets.

Cherokee High School hosted the meet at Boling Park in Canton.

Colpaert, a junior, came in third overall with a time of 15:44.40 one week after notching fourth in the OrthoWest Invitational. His time improved by over a minute after he ran a 16:47.83 race last Saturday.

As a team, the Etowah boys finished eighth overall with 211 points, with only Cherokee finishing higher (fifth, 183) from their home county. River Ridge came in 12th with 271 points, followed by Woodstock (19th, 547) and Creekview (21st, 675).
