BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The coroner has responded to the scene of a person hit by a vehicle in Baton Rouge, officials said.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. on Monday, September 15, on Cottondale Drive near Delplaza Drive.

A spokesperson with the Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed they are investigating.

WAFB is working to gather more information about what happened.
