Dwight Bradley was a prisoner in his own house. For two years, the ailing 73-year-old was stuck in his second-floor bedroom because he could no longer walk down the stairs of his Frederick County home.

Today, Dwight is a free man. He can walk anywhere in his house and enjoys going outside on cool, sunny days. He also travels three times a week to socialize with friends and receive top-tier medical care.

The key to Dwight's regained mobility is the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) offered by Blue Ridge Independence at Home , a branch of the nonprofit Blue Ridge Care that opened a PACE center nearly a year ago at 2333 Valor Drive in Winchester.
