Jonah Tong, who was promoted to the Mets in late August and has started three games for the club, was named the organization’s “Pitcher of the Year.”

Benge, 22, owns a .279/.380/.460 slash line with 13 homers, 68 RBIs and 21 stolen bases in 110 games for Single-A Brooklyn, Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Syracuse.

He was the team’s first-round pick in the 2024 draft.
