SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (WCAX) - New York is trying to get rid of invasive species, and they’re building bridges to make it happen through an expo.

It started Sunday at the Saratoga Farmers’ Market and continues tomorrow at the Roosevelt Campus. The Department of Environmental Conservation says New York is particularly vulnerable to invasive species because of its biodiversity. In this year’s state budget, $425 million was allocated to fight invasive species, the highest amount in the state’s history.
