The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has terminated an employee for a social media post that “made light of the assassination of Charlie Kirk,” according to a statement released on the agency’s official X account.

The FWC described the incident as “deeply troubling” and a direct violation of its core values.
