GRAND FORKS — Some bikers from Devils Lake went hog wild to help those with autism.
Members of the Fire and Iron Motorcycle Club presented a check to the Altru Foundation on Monday, Sept. 15, for more than $11,000.
The money goes to Altru's Autism Diagnostic Clinic. The son of one of the riders was diagnosed there.
The clinic is a one-stop shop for services to diagnose autism in children, or to rule the condition out. The clinic is free because of the generosity of the community, including groups like the motorcycle club.
"Right now, we have a two-year wait list. Kids and families are waiting for these services for months and months so in order for us to continue to provide this service and hopefully expand it into the region, maybe Devils Lake, we need more generous donors in order to
