Zohran Mamdani is holding his ground as the frontrunner in the race for NYC mayor with another poll released Tuesday showing the Democratic nominee with a significant lead and beating former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in a head-to-head contest.

A new Marist poll showed Mamdani leading Andrew Cuomo by 21 points, with 45% of polltakers saying they support Mamdani and 24% choosing Cuomo. Republican Curtis Sliwa received 17% and 9% backed Mayor Adams.

Those opposed to Mamdani, including President Trump, has urged for consolidation in the race to give one candidate the best shot at defeating the nominee.
