EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A 22-year-old wanted man and known member of a gang was arrested Monday afternoon, Sept. 15 in Clint after he was seen jumping into a backyad of a home and then trying to hide out in a cotton field, the El Paso County Constable's Office for Precinct 6 said.

Jason Armendariz, 22, was arrested on three active warrants -- two for driving while intoxicated and another for driving while intoxicated -- second offense. Armendariz is a confirmed member of the Paisa gang, the Constable's Office said.

At about 3 p.m. on Monday, two deputy constables were flagged down in Clint by residents about a suspicious person who was seen jumping into the backyard of home without the homeowner's permission.
