PORTLAND — Skyview beat reigning champion Camas in the championship match to claim the Titan Cup on Monday in the annual boys golf match play event.

Oliver Matheny and Beckett Sharp each won close matches 1 up. That helped clinch Skyview’s victory 7-3 on the Greenback Course at Heron Lakes.

Sharp, Dohoon Kwon, Noa Oei and Ryder McCracken all went 2-0 on the day for Skyview. They won alternate-shot matches in the morning as Skyview beat Union 3-2 to reach the championship match.

Ryker Jun won two matches for Camas, which beat Columbia River 3-2 in the morning. Owen Winn went 2-0 for River.

Henry Kim, Blake Sutton and Cayden Lee won in the morning and afternoon for Union, which tied Columbia River 5-5 in the third-place match. Tags Camas Papermakers Prep Sports Skyview Storm
