Model Jennifer Hawkins and husband Jake Wall’s Whale Beach mega mansion is still under ongoing construction after four years, while a savvy neighbour has purchased the lot in an off-market deal.

Dubbed the ‘Taj Mahal of Whale Beach,’ the huge property at 24-26 Rayner Rd is still being developed by Hawkins’ and Wall’s development company, J Group Projects, despite controversy and reports of complaints from neighbours over the construction.

Mr Wall is handling the development yet local sources have confirmed a private deal was done directly with a neighbouring owner, the purchaser of 30 Rayner Rd in 2023 for $7m.

Property records now show a company owned by neighbour David Appleby took out the caveat for the property and it was reported to cost him about $30 million.
