PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Phillies clinched their second straight National League East title with a thrilling 6-5 win in extra innings over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Home runs by Kyle Schwarber, Weston Wilson and Bryce Harper helped secure the victory early Tuesday morning.

Just five days ago, the Phillies' magic number to secure the division was in double digits. A seven-game winning streak, sparked by a four-game sweep of the New York Mets, helped Philadelphia surge past the finish line.

Eleven games remain on the regular-season schedule, giving the Phillies a chance to finish with the best record in the National League.
