YAKIMA, Wash. – The Central Washington State Fair is set to kick off this Friday at the State Fair Park in Yakima.

The event will run for 10 days, offering a variety of attractions and activities for visitors.

Gates will open at noon on weekends and 2:00 p.m. during the week. Closing times will vary, ranging from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Visitors can look forward to a wide range of entertainment options. Highlights include rides, fair animals, local vendors and artists.

Some of the featured attractions include Brad’s World Reptiles, Sea Lion Splash, Elle’s Miles Petting Zoo and All Creatures Barnyard Racers.

This year’s fair will also feature exciting events such as Motocross, Nitro Fire Quads and Thrills, Demolition Derby, Truck and Trailer Figure 8 Racing and the Motorhome Demo Derby
