According to a Monday news release, the Mahoning County OVI Task Force is planning a sobriety checkpoint for some point during the weekend.
The checkpoint will take place sometime between September 19 and September 21, 2025.
Further details on when and where the checkpoint will be conducted will be released later in the week when details are available.
In addition to the sobriety checkpoint, there will be saturation patrols throughout the week and weekend throughout Mahoning County.
The aim of the Mahoning County OVI Task Force is to make roadways in the county safer.
