A police tent has been put up following the death of a 15-year-old boy in Manchester.

A scene remains in Moss Side as officers continue to investigate the fatal stabbing that occurred on Monday evening (September 15).

Another 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder, he remains in custody and no further arrests have been made.

Police were called to Moss Lane East in Moss Side just after 4.30pm where a teenager was found with stab wounds.

He was treated at the scene and in hospital, however, he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

A police cordon is now in place covering a section of the road in Moss Side.

Photographs taken at the scene show a blue-coloured police evidence tent has been put up near the junction with Lloyd Street North.
