WASHINGTON — Calling all history buffs, history teachers or curious individuals to the National Archives to celebrate Constitution Day.
To celebrate 250 years of American freedom, the National Archives will put the entire U.S. Constitution, the original Bill of Rights, and 17 other Constitutional amendments on display at the Rotunda from Sept. 16 to Oct. 1. This will be the first time the full Constitution will be on display.
This display will also include the rarely displayed fifth page of the US Constitution. The original document outlines a set of instructions to the States on how to implement the Constitution which was signed by George Washington as President of the Constitutional Convention.
