DENVER (KDVR) — Rain chances and cooler temperatures dominate the forecast for Denver's weather Tuesday.

Denver has a marginal risk for severe weather, but the Northeast Plains are under a slight risk to see some isolated tornadoes.

Weather today: Afternoon storms

Temperatures Tuesday morning start out in the 50s before increasing into the upper 70s under partly cloudy skies.

Winds will be out of the northeast this afternoon along with some shower and storm chances that could bring gusty winds, heavy downpours and even some hail.

Weather tonight: Cloudy skies

Showers and storms will taper off in the evening hours as overnight lows drop into the 50s. Winds will be out of the west after midnight anywhere from 5-15 mph.
