Following its award-winning run on London’s West End,” Giant ,” starring John Lithgow , is headed to Broadway.

The show stars Lithgow as Roald Dahl and follows the author as his next book, “The Witches,” is about to be published. At the same time, an antisemitic article he has penned creates backlash. Set across a single afternoon at Dahl’s family home, the play centers on an explosive confrontation that forces the author to choose between making a public apology or risking his reputation.

“Giant” will transfer to Broadway, straight from sold-out runs on the West End and at the Royal Court Theatre. Performances begin on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at a Shubert theater for a strictly limited 16-week engagement.
