The GM plant in Wentzville, Mo. is facing temporary layoffs due to a parts shortage.

The plant is just outside St. Louis.

The move will impact most workers across all three shifts, according to a notice posted by the United Auto Workers Local 2250.

The layoffs are scheduled to begin September 29th and last until October 19, with GM expecting to resume normal operations October 20th.

The Wentzville plant builds mid-size pickup trucks and full-size vans.
