Three Golden Retriever puppies sick with a potentially deadly virus were recently found abandoned on the streets of Boston.
The MSPCA-Angell said the less than 6-month-old puppies were among three recovered by Boston Animal Control in Dorchester on Aug. 23. All three puppies tested positive for Parvovirus, but one of them did not require hospitalization.

“Parvo is highly contagious and potentially deadly, so when the puppies tested positive, Boston Animal Control immediately reached out to us for help,” said Mike Keiley, vice president of the MSPCA-Angell’s Animal Protection Division.
