STEVENS POINT, WI – Portage County District Attorney Cass Cousins announced charges against Chelsea J. Lehmann for aiding or harboring a felon and encouraging a violation of supervision.

Lehmann allegedly assisted Jordan Coyle, a registered sex offender, in avoiding arrest and allowed him contact with her six-year-old daughter, despite his supervision conditions.

Lehmann's charges follow a missing persons complaint when her daughter walked away from home on September 11, 2025.

An Amber Alert was issued, believing the child was with Coyle.

The child and Coyle were found in nearby woods on September 13, 2025. Coyle was taken into custody without incident.
