The Paramount+ crime drama “Tulsa King” is returning for season 3 on Sunday, Sept. 21, and an A-list star is joining the cast.

Samuel L. Jackson is set to make his “Tulsa King” debut as new character Russell Lee Washington Jr.. He’ll also star in the upcoming spinoff “NOLA King,” which follows Russell as he returns to his hometown after a stint in federal prison. He tries to start fresh, but his former employers, New York’s Renzetti crime family, have other plans.
