Conservative activist both in real life − a vigil in Ormond Beach on Friday drew hundreds − and in the virtual world of social media.

But a number of people have made posts critical of Kirk, or even celebrating his violent death on Sept. 10 in Utah. Florida Congressman Randy Fine says he's not having any of that.

Fine called for those responsible for such posts to be removed from "civil society," in a post to the social media site X on Sept. 14.
